Ideology of a Hiker
This is what i listen from FM93.3:

One day, a hiker ask you,"if you come into a storm when you are climbing up a hill/mountain, where will you go? uphill or downhill??" normally a person will answer, "downhill is better". but the Hicker, answer seriously, "insist going uphill is way better, though uphill look like dangerous because you will be closer to the storm, but in contrast you are expose to more danger like land slide and flood downhill if you go downhill" (though this does not make sense, but it is the later part of the story that touches me!! ^^;)

The DJ then relate the story to our daily life. When we encounter a problem, we should have the mindset of the hicker, FACE the problem, not TURN AWAY from it, nomatter how difficult the problem seems to be, we should FACE it... GIVE it a try! You won't have any chance to succeess unless you give it a try..........

how is it???? it impacted me a lot, coz it is something that i always fail to do...........

BUKIT TIMAH #3
a map of the regionexhausted friends
after climbing up this staircase

Continuing last week target to conquer the HIGHEST HILL in SING. Actually this is not my will, there is a person more desperate than me and suggest to go there again this week, initially planted to climb on the morning, but there is a heavy downpour. (more importantly, i am too sleepy to climb down from my bed ^^; )
DIE DIE postpone the plan till the evening, and then we set and go. don't think 163m is nothing for a person that has climbed a Mountain 4010m. The journey almost kill me after we finish the longest track, think we climb up and down the hill several time because the track is design like that. ^^;
YES, finally this short term wish has come to a pass. This place is a good place to LEPAK for singaporean to kill their time. Furthermore it is totally free.... Y NOT??!!!

Mosquito Net Bought in SINGAPORE??????
can't belive that i have bought a mosquito net at IKEA last week. Can't stand being attacted by MOSQUITO ARMY everynight expecially during this vacation. have to build up a shield against them, which in this case a MOSQUITO NETS.

Initially thought that mosquite nets stuff only found in Kampung area like TAWAU. don't think it is needed in a CLEAN and WELL DEVELOPED country like Singapore. but after this vacation, the idea completely turn around, i have been attacked far more agressively than B4, even worse than those day i stay in Kampung. ^^;

Buying the mosquito itself is not an easy task, talk with some hostelmates which has bought one, and found out that there are only TWO place within singapore that got sell mosquito net, one of them is IKEA. Gone there with my neighbour and bought a good looking mosquito net (though quite expensive but no choice).

HAHA..... finally a peaceful night. the SHIELD really done its work.

Beginning to MISS the Attachment Period.
Working for Data Storage Institute (DSI) for almost two months already. and only left less than one months before starting my FINAL YEAR. kind of scared of my final year because it is believe to be a TUFF year, that we have to work extra hard than before. (at least that is in my point of view. ^^;)

Missing the relax and easy going lifestyle during my attachment period, not that i didn't learn anything here, i did learn a lot from my attachment. but the workload given to me during the attachment is relatively low and affortable. Most importantly i can spare my time at night to do my own things. ^^;

BUKIT TIMAH
suddently having the mood to climb the HIGHEST Hill in Singapore, BUKIT TIMAH HILL (163m above sea level ^^!!!!!!!!). called some friends and depart for it this evening, not really serious about it, and decided to climb the hill at 1830 (thinking that we can make it in 1 hrs up and down), but being blocked by the guard there because it is too late, tried our best to smugled through but end up almost being Scold by them HARDLY. ^^;

At the end, just walk around the track downhill and have to satisfy for it. Promise to come back again tomorrow, this time SERIOUSLY>>>>>>>

to be continue..........
