Payment for Intellectual rights

This is something very interesting, that can toggle your thought.. think about it =)

A giant ship engine failed. The ship's owners tried one expert afteranother, but none of them could figure how to fix the engine. Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was young. Hecarried a large bag of tools with him, and when he arrived, heimmediately went to work. He inspected the engine very carefully, top tobottom.

Two of the ship's owners were there, watching this man, hoping he would Know what to do.After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag and pulledOut a small hammer. He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engineLurched into life. He carefully put his hammer away. The engine was fixed.

A Week later, the owners received a bill from the old man for S$10,000."What?!"the owners exclaimed. "He hardly did anything!" So they wrote the old mana note saying, "Please send us an itemized bill."

The old man sent a bill that read:

Tapping with a hammer...... ......... . $ 2.00
Knowing where to tap......... ........$ 9,998.00

Lesson to be learned :
Effort is important, but knowing where to makeAn effort in your life makes all the difference.

Changi Village

Today the cell group went to changi village for lunch after service.. We went to an Italian Restaurant along the main road, the name is "Pardiz" (if i am not mistaken, next to Subway). Wow!!! the food is really really nice.. and the serving is extra big..

We even go further to taste Canadian white wine.... hahaha..... though I am okay with drinking wine, but my face turned red easily.. 少不了being laugh by fellow cell group member lor.. (Trying to convince that this is good because of good metabolism ^^; pity)

Quite a good experience today.

Cloths

Just discover something interesting, EVERYTIME I gone out shopping with my sister YY (Once two/three weeks). I end up buying 1 to 2 set of T-shirt for myself..

This girl ah... when can't find suitable cloths/ accessories/ SHOEs (she like to buy shoes especially 不明白) for herself. always go to the guys department and Encouraging me to buy one, and I always fall into the temptation...

Sigh.... This cannot be mah... must control already.. if not i will find my cupboard flooded with cloths, and find myself overspending..

Sleeping Beauty

Sunday:

Today day on my way home together with EY, the team ICs for team D, think she is very tired after a whole day serving, in addition to that having stomach pain. She fall asleep on the train, watching her sleeping face, I began to realize that she is just an ordinary 19 year old little girl; the IC look is not there anymore. Her life is not easy, it won’t be easy, but yet she is so on fire with God, and doing so much for the ministry, for god. I wanted to ask “Won’t you feel tired?? How do you keep up with this demanding lifestyle for so long??”

Same applied to all the leaders and helpers in the section. All are wonderful people, willing to scarify their rest time to serve god. I am not that strong as I appear to be (If you guys don’t notice) during my time in the ministry, there are dozens of time I feel very tired, exhausted, much like giving up. But it is these people and friends (if you guys consider me to be one) setting an example for me, and keeping me going.

MCs today

Alone today at home as i am on MC today.. ^^; for the first time after 1 year of clear record, this is my first MCs (haha.. guess i can get employee of the year award if i continue the clear record)..

Nvm, basically I am alright already, don't worry, after taking the medicine from clinics and few hours more sleep after that, feelin much better now.. think i only need some rest..

The feeling of being home alone is quite funny, having no one to talk to.... no one around you.. empty and without purpose.. a feeling that once i am very familiar with, but right now i am not used to this feeling already.. expecially after i came to singapore to study and after I joined my great church CHC.. thanks for all the people around me for keeping me company all these years..

Ok lar, today rest well, tomorrow its time to work even harder.. and meet even more people...
