Monkeys in cold

I know this is really bad, but these monkeys are CUTE ^o^;

Put your Big Stones in first

One day, the professor in his MBA class took out an empty glass container and filled it with big stones, when the container was filled, he asked his students "Is the container filled?"

The students answered "Yes it is filled"

"Is it??" the professor said as he took out some small stones and put them in, the small stones gone into the gab between the big stones and filled it; when it is full he asked his student again "Is the container filled?"

The students, who begans to understand how the games play, answered "NO!!",

"Clever! GOOD!!", He took out a bag of fine sand and filled the container with it, shaking it from time to time so that the sand might fill in, when the container was full, again he ask his students "Is the container filled?"

"NO", the students answered happily.

"GOOD!!", the professor took out a jar of water and filled it in. Finally the container was filled, he ask his students "What is the message you think I wanted to conduct today?"

One of the students stood up excitedly and answer 'The message is " No matter how pack your timetable may be, you can always squeeze more things into it to fully utilize it."' The rest of the students clapped their hands, agreed with him.

"NO" actually what I wanted to conduct is "You must put the BIG STONE into this container first when it is empty or else you will never be able to put it in after it was filled with other things. "

Friends in this new year, prioritize your life first, locate and identify what is the most important area of your life. PUT THEM IN FIRST, the rest of the things will fill in automatically...

Cycling to Mount Faber

Cycling to Mount Faber Last saturday, from Clementi all the way to Tiong Bahru, then cross AYE to this place. Checked via street directory where is the place first so that won't get lost. I never gone to this place, but wanted so much to explore it....

My first impression of this Mount Faber once I reach is "WOW!!! So many Tourist??".. Quite "Paise", sweating all over, with a simple T-shirt and shorts, wondering in the mist of these tourists, many of them are foreigner asking me to take photo for them; think I'd gave them a bad impression about singaporean people already.....

The place is a nice place to hang out, nice scenery a place which you can expand you eye sight and look further away. Singapore really doesn't have a lot of hills.

This is an interesting "Bridge" I saw under construction nearby, From Mount Faber Part straight to Mount Faber Cable car area, the design look like Genetic code (Mmmmm... I think I saw an article about this bridge in newspaper sometimes ago).. When this is finish, It will be a good place to hang out. Must have fantastic view up there.

Chop off my head

YEAH!!! I done it again, SIGH. Initially just wanted to change the color of the hair so that I may look nicer when going back to CNY, trusting the hair stylish and stick to his suggestion..."Black hair with some highlight look messy, Why don't you dye your hair brown with highlight it look better this way" I say OKAY!! ON!!

Right now I just want to die, It was not OKAY, I shouldn't say the word ON; Too bright!! so so so NOT chanlee, like AH BENG... ; Right now I just wanted to chop off my head and put it into the drawer for 3 months before taking out again... the decision was so so so wrong... tomorrow how on earth can I go to office to work??.

没力!! Pray hard that something good may come out from every bad things..

4S2A Team Outing

Last Tuesday was going out with Fellow Usher Team members at Bugis for a dinner, we gone to a near by restaurant for 鱼片米粉 very very nice, and then to StarBuck Cafe for some chit chatting and announcement time.

Was defeated by Ray, an announcement can be made very much like a bible study class, got sermon notes somemore... although it was expressed in a rather odd way, but can see that he really had the heart to lead the team. Glad that I am in his team..

Catched by this verse when I am revising past sermon notes: John 3:27 " John answered and said, "A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven".

It was so so so true, “既来之，则安之”，是你的终就会是你的，不是你的再怎样强求也是没有用。 Then was reminded of what pastor said “要走的始终都是会走的” So funny.. ^^;

怕打针

又是一年一次做公司full body check up 的时候了，很好啦，公司的福利还不错，可是就是怕打针，怕被针‘督’。

被针‘督’不痛，只是有点麻麻痒痒，可是差不多被叫到的时候还是会紧张。对于今年的身体状况还不是很有信心的说。

Beginning of Year 2008

The year for me begins with a very slow phase, Partly because of last december, which I would say exhausive, busy with works, with ministry, with cell group, friends, 21 Click Marathon, endless activities... After all these, I just wanted to rest, not really interested nor motivated to do things.. Other than that, it is partly because my goal for 2008 haven't been set, what do I want to achieve in year 2008?? I cannot tell exactly right now.. but I know something, I really need to improve on my spiritual life.. I wanted to draw closer to GOD this year
